The ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) technology allows to produce electricity from thermal waste in a cost-effective and eco-sustainable manner, without increasing CO2 emissions.
Exploiting waste heat from industrial processes or the combustion of biomass otherwise difficult (and onerously) disposable, it’s possible to obtain an extra gain from the energy produced and sold. As process products we have, in addition to electrical energy, also heat (from the condenser) which can be reused, for example, for feeding small utilities (acs).
The heat needed to support an operating system can be obtained from: Natural gas engines (gas heat recovery) Cogenerators (gas heat recovery) Biogas / biodiesel engines (gas heat recovery) Gas turbine (exhaust gas heat recovery) Torches of landfills or industrial processes Combustion systems and heat production Biomass boilers (wood chips, pollen, pomace, etc.) Waste heat from industrial processes (all those processes that require cooling along the production lines)
Here the features of our ORCs: Nextec ORC systems work around 8,500 hours / year having guaranteed the heat source High quality electrical and electronic components Condensing temperatures compatible with dry coolers Control system with remote supervision Innovative design of heat exchangers Complete systems mounted on a steel frame Compact dimensions, transportable and installable in containers standard High Cube 20 ft format Extremely easy assembly and maintenance Low management and maintenance costs
